About Us
Running Bath was set up back in 2004, founded by brothers Neil and Malcolm. With their sister and nephew also working in the shop, Running Bath is a family-run business through and through.
Located in the heart of bustling Bath, right next to the famous Abbey, they welcome locals and visitors alike who all share one common goal: to boost their running performance.
And that’s where the team’s many years’ experience comes in - they offer invaluable advice to each and every customer, finding you the right footwear, clothing and accessories to suit your needs and running goals. Pop in and chat to the friendly team for a no-pressure gait assessment and get off on the right foot for your next running adventure…

F.A.Q.
- What is a gait assessment?
It’s a method of analysing a runner’s body movements as they transition through the gait cycle so that we can establish the way you run or walk. Analysing the degree of pronation or supination can help minimise the risk of injury as it allows us to recommend the correct type of footwear for your needs.
- Why book an assessment?
No two runners are the same. We all vary in weight, height and stride. So a running shoe that suits one person might cause issues for another. We work with some of the biggest brands to bring you invaluable advice when it comes to choosing your next pair of running shoes.
- What are your opening times?
Unfortunately we are currently closed until the new lockdown restrictions are lifted.
- What are your social distancing rules?
We are constantly monitoring the government’s guidelines to make sure we all stay safe. We’re adhering to the one metre + rule, as well as providing hand sanitiser for both our customers and staff.
